I knew that this was what I was meant to be doing since college. I pursued an Art degree from Illinois State University in order get my k-12 teaching license in Art Education. I also, start my photography journey at that time, when I began working for a portrait studio. While working there, I honed my photography skills and learned how to pose and work with children and families. After graduation, I continued my education by taking online photography courses, and by starting my business and consistently working with clients.

I moved back home after college, and the week I moved home, I reconnected with a childhood family friend, at a family party and the rest is history. Everything just felt so right, and so natural. He proposed one year later on our first anniversary. We had our first Son two years later, and his passing was one of the hardest things we have ever experienced but it brought us closer in the end.

Fast forward 10 years and we now have three beautiful children hear on earth with us. Leo is five years old and charming, intelligent, a social butterfly, and very very funny! Lincoln is two and our serious shy guy when you first meet him. He has an engineers inquisitive mind and can be very very silly late at night. Little sissy Lyanna is our perfect little wildflower who adores her brothers and loves to do everything with them. I fill my days with play dough, crazy messes, excited screams, bedtime stories, jokes and lots and lots of giggles.

I feel blessed to be able to help them capture their family & those special memories, for their family legacy.
